Hey everyone,
I'm looking at short-drop suspension as a suicide method, and I've been told that tying a slipknot over a clothes beam is an effective way to do it. Attached is a slipknot I made over a clothes beam with a shoelace. Is this what it should look like? As you can see the knot is around the beam and there's a loop hanging down which I could put my head in. I'm not actually planning to use a shoelace for the suicide - if I do it, I'll do it with some rope.
