I suffer from both physical and mental problems and desperately want to end my life
I recently looked into assisted dying in Canada and became interested in this.
I learned that assistant in Canada is only available to people whose health insurance is funded by the by a province or territory, or the federal government . And, as far as I know, there is only one state that funds health insurance for all its residents.
I want to end my life in Canada. Is that a realistic scenario? I'm very desperate.

I have no personal experience, but according to the official federal website:
  • be eligible for health services funded by a province or territory, or the federal government
    • You may also be eligible if you meet your province or territory's minimum period of residence or waiting period.
This implies to me, that you might be able to qualify without state funded insurance.
