I've tried partial hanging at least 20 times before but I literally can't even pass out. The thing that hurts really bad is my actual neck, obviously I know it's going to hurt my neck but it feels like I'm doing it wrong with how unbearable it is and the fact that I've never been able to pass out. Is it the fact that I'm using a bedsheet? Is this just how much it hurts and I have to deal with it?

We're in the same boat. Have you tried with different positions? Looking down/up - up down your jaw/all the way down - sitting/standing/kneeling? I think a bedsheet should work as long as it does support your weight. Maybe using some soap or oil around the neck to help with tightening?

I usually try looking down which might be more painful but I thought it would be more effective, and I have tried pretty much every position I've seen recommended, I feel like sitting has gotten me the closest but I am actually sitting on the ground with the bedsheet pulled tight just because of the height of my suspension point and the length of the bedsheet after it's tightened. Isn't sitting usually not a good idea though? Thanks for your response!

Sitting can work, I've seen some cases with people sitting. Maybe you can also play with the bedsheet thickness to see if making it thinner helps or the other way around, I think one gotta just try to see what works.
Regarding position you just have to take into consideration that when you pass out you should stay in a position where the "rope" is still doing its job and that your position doesn't change that much if you'd experience muscular movements. There is a picture here showing how much & of your weight is put with each position. Also I think we have to really push to excert pressure on the neck, I sometimes just try to looking down but forget about really putting pressure. Wish you good luck!

If you hit it right it doesnt hurt. I passed out in a few seconds after the belt got tight. I did full suspension in order to not chicken out and to put maximum weight on the belt. I do not know how to do partial, but i heard its as peaceful as full.

How do you do it using a belt on both partial and full?

All the pics i have seen from partial hangings were using ropes or cables. I believe it works by blocking bloodflow to your brain, then max 2 mins before you pass out. you somehow arent blocking the arteries. also these pics were from autoerotic asphyxiators who were getting pleasure from the reduced consciousness. keep in mind you can panic or have survival instinct and get back up again (unless you like this too)

I do not have anything high enough in my room that will hold my weight, and I am not allowed to be home alone/live with 5 other people, my parents also took stuff that I've tried to hang myself with in the past.

Yeah unfortunately there is no way for me to get a rope. I might not be waiting long enough too because I stop because of how much it is hurting my neck, and like I'm not getting the exploding head feeling but it also doesn't feel like I'm about to pass out so I'm scared I'm doing it wrong.

i only know full suspension. i have a soft belt (vowen) with double ring so there was no need for knots or anything. i made a noose by sliding the rings into the belt (the way you would if you wore it around the waist), and then i took the end that was left hanging, i put it over top of the door (between door and door frame) and then i shut the door. then i kicked the chair that was under me. what i did not expect is that the other part that is stuck between door and door frame would slide out. if i had made a knot on the other side of the door, the belt wouldnt slide and i would have died. but i am a moron and morons have to live onnnnnnnnnnnn. i think the closet door works too.
