50-60 meters into a river is enough to be fatal right? Am I going to suffer horribly? Isn't it possible to just jump so that I make sure I go head first.

I can't do tons of planning and stuff to make sure it is completely painless and etc. (Like with SN or something). It has to be at least a bit impulsive and violent. Yet a gun is just too violent for me. So bridge it is, but I'm worried the bridge I have access to is a bit too borderline on lethality. I don't want to end up surviving and physically disabled. And well, I kinda want to have my cake and eat it too, I don't want to be in too much pain for too long I guess. I don't want to be suffering for more than a few minutes.

Sorry, I'm sure this information is easy to find, i just haven't been able to find it and be confident.

Water does a lot to break you fall. Idk seems too risky to me.

These are just questions to think about. How deep is the water? Is it a body of water like a lake, or is it a river that flows to the ocean? Is the water really cold, could hypothermia set in and make it practically impossible to swim out?

Thank you. It's a river flowing into the ocean about 15m deep. Not cold really. What's the likelihood I'll even be conscious/able enough to swim out if I fall?

I guess it's all relying on the initial fall going just right, cause yeah, if I get unlucky and remain some level of bodily function and consciousness, it wouldn't be that hard to swim out. And I guess I've read of people surviving higher falls with relatively little damage, so yeah maybe the idea is in fact not very good..

I was kinda just thinking about people who have jumped from the Golden Gate bridge, in San Fransisco, California. The water is really cold, plus theres sharks, and an aggressive current that makes it incredibly difficult to swim to shore.
"What's the likelihood I'll even be conscious/able enough to swim out if I fall?"
I'm unfortunately not knowledgable enough on the subject to answer this. personally, I wouldn't trust it enough to bet my life on. maybe if you landed at just the right angle, it might knock you out. But then again, water, being a liquid, will move out of the way. . Heres a video of an episode of Mythbusters (it's like 4 mins long), where they tested if landing on water is as damaging as landing on concrete. Just some food for thought. Also, adrenaline is a hell of a drug. The body can do amazing things if it gets a big enough shot of the stuff.

man if your sure and decided to do it by falling why would you want to hit the water? how i imagine it, just find like maybe 10+ floor hose 1765149771073 i mean like these for example, if you dont live in one, just lie your way inside, then manage to get to the top somehow and i suppose youll have much much higher chance of reaching your goal. why risking

It's not a good plan. This will be a terrible last experience for you and it may not even work. You could be disabled for life. Or you'll drown while severely injured in freezing water.
