I have a boyfriend who really loves me and has lost multiple friends to suicide I do get scared that he will follow me but is it selfish that I still want to I've been trying for so long to keep my head up but it's so hard abd life is only getting worse I don't want him to follow he is the only reason I'm still breathing honestly I don't want to be the last straw idk if this making sense really drink but the thing is I want to be done I'm tired of waking up so is it wrong if someone you live with still loves you abd wants you better

I think selfish is the wrong way to look at it because it's a word of judgment and condemnation.

If the word selfish didn't exist, how would you view this? How would you weigh things out if condemnation didn't come into play?
