Is it possible to use SN (Sodium Nitrite) instead of salt in your food?

You can, add enough and you'll die. Although I suggest to add more than the drinking lethal amount, but it would work in theory. It would also make you more likely to vomit, it's a SN poisoning symptom.
It already is in some food- in much smaller amounts- obviously. People have been accidentally poisoned via home cured meats though- where they used too much. Still- as a CTB attempt- it's recommended to fast beforehand to increase the speed of the uptake I imagine and to avoid vomiting. I doubt food would mask the taste either.
