Is it possible to overdose on antidepressants?

Nope. You could get serotonin syndrome ig, but the drugs for people who want to kill themselves are obviously designed so that you can't kill yourself with them.
Older tryciclics like Amitriptyline are easier to overdose on but newer anti depressants not so much.
Nick drake died from a Amitriptyline overdose. But im not sure if it was acidental or suicide
It would be very, very hard. The amount you would need would be so much more than what one can regularly acquire. Besides, I can't imagine it being peaceful. Would not recommend.
You could, in the sense that ingesting 5 pounds of anything would be lethal lol. The irony would be funny but as far as I know side effects would be what takes you out.
Amitriptyline is listed in the Peaceful Pill Handbook as being a reliable method; 10 or more grams are required and although amitriptyline has some sedative effects on its own, both a long and a short-acting benzodiazepine is recommended in combination with amitriptyline.
