• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Hello, I use methane gas for cooking and I have just learned that methane, if it burns incompletely, can be converted into carbon monoxide.

For it to burn incompletely, there needs to be insufficient oxygen in the room. So, if I burn methane for many hours in a completely sealed room, I would eventually produce carbon monoxide. Is this reasoning correct? Thank you in advance for your valuable opinions. I look forward to your replies.

Yes, it would be 2CH4+3O2→2CO+4H2O
It would take forever tho and typically homes are not sealed well enough for this to matter all that much.

Either way, where are you mentally?
