Not by the families affected I imagine.

I tend to view my own suicide as an absolute gift to nature. It will be so much better off without me. Not only am I wasteful in day to day life but, my job generates a lot of waste. Sadly though- my Dad's potential devastation feels more tangible than my concern for the environment. So, I feel stuck here for now.

But, I have a dim view of our species generally. When I watch urbex videos, I fantasize how nice this world would be without humans. I imagine the roof collapsing where I live (after we've all died) and trees growing through the property.

Large industries cause a negative ecological impact in one day that you wouldn't cause in a lifetime, I don't know if you're referring to it in that sense.
