• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Im speaking more so in the grand scheme, obviously they're all agonizing and scary methods, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. But if someone can set themselves ablaze or starve themselves to death. Then why can't I stab my heart? No way I can't do this, I've stories of 11 year old girls self-immolating. A heart stab is mercy compared to how so many other people have to die, and it's lights out fast at least. I mean, if desperate enough, people seem to do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Saying you're willing to do something is a lot different from actually being able to execute it.

People have anecdotally done all sorts of things to die but that doesn't change the immense practical difficulty for the average person.

Why are some people able to voluntarily die in horrible ways?

Some questions don't have a good answer.

The fact that there are methods that are possibly more unpleasant doesn't make a stab to the heart any less unpleasant. You know what I mean?

I stabbed my leg with a kitchen steak knife. It didn't hurt that bad until the cops put a tourniquet on. You wont need to worry about that with your heart but I think the bones may be the tricky part.

If I stabbed myself again with intent to kill I would stab myself in the neck twice very quickly.
