I can't be conscious after Death because I won't exist .
The only time I can exist is if my brain is alive and functioning.
1 micro second after my brain dies i will cease to exist forever and never exist again. To me that is the best thing Non-existence forever
While in a dreamless sleep you disappear. So I don't exist while in a dreamless sleep every night. Where do I go during dreamless sleep? That tells me when I wake up the me or self is an illusion created by my brain. It feels real and yes u can suffer unbearable pain which is the extreme horror
All the thinking and model of a self are only generated by a human's brain
Who or what even am I? Am I my thoughts, memories, experiences, actions, beliefs, or all of these so no particular belief?
I think the 1000 brains theory is correct. And also the attention schema theory of consciousness is correct.
the current conscious thought is the one that wins the competition between on gun parallel processes in the brain
Most of waking time a human is on autopilot. Previous habits or programs are reacting.
If I ask myself am I conscious now ? The answer is yes. But was I conscious a moment ago before I asked the question and what was i conscious of a moment ago? What was i conscious of 60 minutes ago what was i doing and thinking then 3 hours ago exactly?
Most of the waking time is wasted on useless distractions like youtube social media TV media videos
imo I or a human doesn't continously exist even while the brain is alive for example sleep and on autopilot.
Imo There is no self there is only a brain and brain cells connected into neural networks.
The brain has unfathomable processing power . even the brain of 1 mm worm has 302 brain cells and 7000 connections between the brain cells. It can form at least 2 to the 7000 th power different patterns which is an an unfathomably large number much larger than all the atoms in the universe by far.
The worms have around 285 million times fewer nerve cells than humans.
