In the old days, I recall a 50/50/50 concrete asphalt rule. If you jump from 50 feet (approximaltey 5 stories), you had a 50/50 chance of survival with a 100% chance of being f'ed up. Nowadays, medical progression has probably moved the survival number up. Regardless, I can't see myself jumping due to my biggest fear of instant regret the second I let go. Check out "The Bridge" if you haven't already.

Maybe sit this one out and let your wife know about your mental state.
