It is something I can't really understand it, if someone gets for example bullied into trying to kill themself and they survive they get the trouble but not the people who are at fault.
This also counts for much worse things like domestic abuse and rape, it is obvious that many victims will choose to try to ctb but first they get locked up in a psych ward but the person who is behind this often gets away.
I really don't understand why this society is like this.
Whenever I told people about how I want to die cause I got sexually assaulted and heavily bullied they only care about that I don't ctb, it is so fucking weird.
If someone who is important to me told me that I would even help them to ctb if they really think that is the best for them, I find it really disgusting to do non consentual things with others and keeping someone who is feeling some type of pain alive counts as that.

Unfortunately society still views suicide as a moral problem, and instead of trying to sympathize or trying to understand why we feel this way, we just get labeled as selfish, and many other terrible things. The unfortunate reality is, it's way easier to criticize what you don't understand than it is to actually make the effort to have an open mind and try to understand other viewpoints, and regrettably, most people choose the former. People dislike change, and difference, especially if someone challenges their beliefs. Since for most people, life is an amazing thing, it would be irrational to think that you would want to cause an early end to it. When people who believe suicide should be a personal choice express their beliefs, the former people believe their beliefs are being challenged, and get highly upset. Because of the fact these types of people are the majority, suicide ends up being very stigmatized. At least that's why I think society is the way it is. The whole system sucks.

I cannot imagine how awful it must be to go through the things you went through… few people understand that there are worse things than death unfortunately, and those who do have a tendency to not be among the living.

Life is cool until it isn't about fun anymore but rather about surviving.

To keep an image I suppose, imagine you were in a room full of people, and one says they're suicidal, and instead of calling them out, you say you respect their decision. Most people equate respecting that kind of decision to supporting and encouraging, and even assisting in a suicide. To make sure they feel accepted, you'd get villainized just as much as the suicidal person, because many people care about looking good in front of others. However, not everyone is like that. There are people who genuinely care about a person and will hear them out and help them, while still respecting if they want to ctb, even if it means being condemned by others, although they are extremely few and far between.

I think people don't see the bigger picture. This world is very much fucked up, in my opinion. I find there would be less suicides if the world was a better place, and lower rates in mental health issues. Plus there's not much those people can do (people that you share your pain with). The people that hurt people have to change.

exactly, these people are beyond insane. you dont know how many cops have told me how i should think or act, especially when i was younger. imagine a grown ass man in his 50's with a wife and kids fucking bulling a suicidal 15 year old. they must have a superiority complex cause no one in their right mind tells a child who has obviously been a victim of domestic abuse that they're "going to give you pills at the hospital to fix the way you think" or poke fun at your suicide attempt, or talk about how they're going to buy snacks at Starbucks after they get you in an ambulance.

The psych ward nurses and doctors aren't much better, whenever you want to die too much they give you a shot and throw you in a dark padded room, meanwhile my mom who did this to me was only comforted and consoled that her child would be fixed. what am i to you? a toy that can just be fixed whenever you break me? if im just a toy to you why should it matter if im dead or not, just get a new one right? these people have never cared about your mental state, they only care about your physical body. they dont care that my sh is a coping method, they want me to bottle up all my emotions inside. As long as the physical body isnt hurt theres no difference to them.

Counsellors are the same they listen to your stories and all the terrible things that have happened to you and at the end of the session they just let you go back to that hell. only when you try to kill yourself do they do something. (aka put you in a psych ward where you are going to suffer and are no longer their responsibility, woohoo!) Has no one ever stopped to think that forcing people in extreme mental pain to stay alive is a form of torture?

So if my mother cut my leg off and there was no pain medication that could stop the pain i felt, no guarantee that i would ever stop feeling this pain and the pain was excruciating enough that i wished for death everyday but was kept alive against my will, that counts as torture and a violation of human rights but not locking suicidal people in a psych ward. ok that makes sense.

I always got blamed for my abusers behaviors, got blamed for fighting back, got blamed for being mentally ill afterwards. I just wanna cbt. And it's SICK that theres pro-lifers that wanna steal our safe spaces from us and report helpful sites like these. These sites actually help you learn how to commit suicide the right way without physically harming someone around you, leaving yourself alive and injured, and how to do it safely. These people, teachers, administrators, cops, just wanna hurt us.

1) People are lazy 2) the same people making the decisions were probably bullying the others to death 3) people want to feel good about themselves without doing the work to actually be good e.g. least amount of effort 4) It's a way of absolving themselves of the guilt they shouldn't be absolving. 5) Society wants a punching bag and that's who they choose. Better to keep them alive to keep punching it.

It sucks people are bullied/isolated for their whole lives then basically told okay now be a normal functioning human being. While you are isolated and beaten down further by society.
