I need opinions on recording CTB

Maybe it's a bad idea, but I was thinking about recording my CTB, my only thought is to help those who have difficulty doing it, I would go CTB anyway, I was so lost, SS helped me so much, I had a lot of doubts about which method to choose and how to execute it, even after gathering the resources I still had doubts as to whether it would work.
Maybe a video of a CTB will help some, or not, I don't know, what do you say?

I think it's a bad idea personally.

It will be very traumatic for friends and family. A lot of trolls will post rubbish too.

People who genuinely want to CTB will be unlikely to find much value in watching you die. I think its more for sick twisted people to enjoy.

Unless you came up with some new complex method I would avoid.

I think the only way to do that successfully would be to anonymize yourself and I don't think that's possible, at least not reliably. Helping others is a nice idea but I think your identity would always leak, traumatising many who know you.

I think doing it on video will lead to people imitating it.

I think people who misuse it are irrelevant.

If someone wants to CTB and there is a video showing how to do it, I think people will use it for those purposes.

But this all rests on the idea that providing someone with the information and means to CTB is ethical and the person has made a sound choice in doing what is in the video (or recording, etc.).

I find videos useful because I'm a very anxious person and having video footage makes me feel more comfortable cause I have an idea of what is going to happen.

Now it's more like a mysterie and that makes it quite difficult

i was going to film my death too, but decided against it only bc of the trolls & gore fetishists that are the main watchers of vids like thatidk if you've ever been on gore sites, but the comments ppl leave on there are vile.

I think when you are ctb-ing, you maybe don't have time to edit except you seek help from other people to edit and post it. The problem is that person maybe will get difficulties when authorities find out.
I think it's a bad idea if you have people that care about you and you care about them. If you don't have any, then it's up to you. Don't forget, there is website like WPD, if you fine with somedays your video uploaded to that kind of site then do it.
But i personally didn't see any benefit from that kind of video as someone who want to ctb using SN.

No friend, don't,it's great you posted your set up but not the actual event,it's a personal thing,it's a daunting experience enough having to do it nevermind filming it.

Streaming is my choice - it resonates with me and I am not afraid to do it with people watching - there is some comfort to it actually

I agree with you. I have seen a lot of hanging videos and the end comes much quicker than I expected. Nevertheless, there are some that are really messy. With the videos you get a sense how you might have a better chance of a quick death
