I see the train go by 10 times a day, the only thing that separates me from the train is a 5 foot chain link fence and when I stand next to it the train is 3 feet away, but I just can't do it, something about it feels risky, like is a train death truly painless? How fast can a train hit the brakes etc. Also I'm in my parents house atm due to some events. If I do kms this method I would be afraid every single time the train goes by they would remember me

Whenever anybody brings up this method it's always telling to me when they never consider the crew of the train who also have to think about how somebody died on their watch. It's the same with death by vehicle collision. You've considered your parents being reminded, but oddly are more worried about the risk to yourself than the risk to people on the train itself. Risk-wise it's generally low if you know what you're doing. Trains take miles to stop, but I doubt it'll be 100% pain free.

Well yea man my compassion has its limits. I want to die right, I don't think I'm putting anyone in a train in physical danger as they're designed to hit deer etc. I'm like you said putting the driver in a bit of mental anguish and although it does bother me, not enough to not go through with it if I knew it was painless etc. What can I say, I try being a good person but there's a cut off there.
