He was so cruel to me and wished me to die slow and saying I'm a hoe and that he hates me. Six years of that bullshit and not to mention he can't keep his hands off me. Why so much abuse I'll never know.

Not everyone is like that, not every attempt of opening up will leave you hurt. Maybe there is still a chance of achieving what you want (if you still want it, that is). Even if the lack of trust, the trauma and caution will likely stay with you for a long time, an understanding and patient enough person could turn things around. After you heal a bit, you could try again, now at least you know the red flags and are hopefully less tolerant to bullshit :s
