Anyone else hate it? Unless I'm actively with the person it's fucking unbearable. Made worse by the fact that I tend to get obsessive and day dream, which is extra embarrassing since I'm a grown woman. Currently fixated on some celebrity and all I can think about is how hard it would be to look him in the eyes if I were to come across him, which will never happen. Fuck

I totally agree. Especially when you know that person actively dislikes you. This my first time having a celebrity "crush" this intense

I tend to be susceptible to limerence (obsessive crushes on people) I believe so yes- it's often a miserable experience overall. I'm actually not so bad if it's a celebrity or fictional character- so- someone I don't even have the slightest chance with. Not that I had much more of a chance with real life people but, somehow, being around them made it so much worse. Weirdly, I seem to go through phases. It's been maybe 2 years since my last big crush on someone so, maybe I'm passing into asexuality.

not attraction related but every time I get close or start caring for someone in any way the more I am prone to push them away. I hate getting attached to people overall because I don't feel like I deserve to.
