I got my citizenship at age of 18.

I wasnt born in Finland. I learnt language, I adopted culture. I assimilated into society. But I am still ashamed I didnt finish military service (because of my mental health problems) Military service is mandatory for males in my country (those who are citizen) You have to serve at least for 6 months.

On the bright side, you were able to do all those incredible things like learning the language and assimilating to a whole new culture as a teenager.
