All our gadgets (smartphones, computers etc) were made by people who are living in horrific circumstances. Don't even get me started on all the misery that humans put other animals through.

And yet how can I especially somebody who doesn't even care for themselves care about the suffering of others? Don't get me wrong I'm am sympathetic for all creatures who will feel pain, suffer, and then die but I have no control over what happens. This world is a meat grinder and Life itself the butcher. It has been playing the same life script bullshit since the beginning relentlessly. "Death created time to grow the things it would kill" -as Rust Cohle puts it. We are all trapped inside layers of prisons: this body, our consciousness, society, death etc. I figured I didn't create this world and the universe doesn't gives two shits about me so why should I give a shit about it? It fucking sucks and I hate sounding pessimistic but what can I do about it? Why do you think some of us are suicidal? Cause it's about the control we never got to have ever in our entire lives. The control to change things to make this world a tiny bit better for a brief moment and yet we can't even get a chance to do that unless you have money or are a people's person, somebody with drive to actually wanting to help people which I rarely find and am guilty of conforming to the establishment that we humans are nothing. And so I feel nothing in return. Apologies for the rambling I just cannot fathom where to even begin to even help myself let alone almost 8 billion people most of whom are assholes and don't care about me or you and the trillions of other organisms who quite honestly wouldn't care less about you and would gladly feed on your rotting corpse without thinking twice about it. If I had the option I would gladly erase all life and blow this planet back to stardust but like always it's literally out of my fuckng control. Now what??

My point is that my feelings on the subject don't matter if I don't have power. If you're in a position to torture me, you can come up with a moral justification for it as well. What I have to think about it doesn't matter if you have control.

Law is a way of giving security to a society's members in the sense that it allows them to contribute value. It is often implemented via morality since the latter is a palatable thing for most people.

Most of the time 98 percent of that money is eaten up with "administration costs" the other 2 percent is film and camera crew with a bucket of cream of wheat for commercial purposes.
