I don't know if I'll survive this month. Lots of debt

I'm at a terrible financial situation and I don't know if I'll survive this month. I'm scared. My best friend that shared the apartment with me moved and I'll have to pay everything by myself but I'm self-employed and this month nobody was hiring me due to end of the year expenses. I'm using my BF's credit card and I don't know if I'll be able to pay it. The energy and water bills are so expensive to pay by myself. I don't have much stuff that I can sell, and I've been considering prostitution but I don't know how can I do it and I think I would puke. I don't have the most beautiful body to sell anything online and I'm scared if anyone of my town finds out. What's the cheapest way I can buy anything or CTB here in Brazil? I've been trying to survive but each day that passes this doesnt make sense anymore...

You aren't alone. Many of us are facing financial ruin / disaster. I hope you will consider asking friend for help or just waiting until next month and hopefully business is better. Some of us here have chronic illness / terminal illness and can't work. I'm not discounting your frustration and despair, it is just possible that things can turn around for you financially. What does your bf say about it? I bet he would be willing to help

Do you have family or friends you can ask for assistance? Pawn shops? Not sure what Brazil has compared to the US or Canada, but perhaps try talking to a financial advisor or bankruptcy trustee. They may be able to prep a consumer proposal over the credit card debt. However, most credit card companies are prepared to work with you since they don't want their customers doing consumer proposals or bankruptcy - and the trustees tend to get involved only when bad debts are 6 months in arrears or older. Is your landlord reasonable? If so, perhaps chat with them about your current difficulties. Advertise for a room-mate, etc. Remember that the odds are business picks up in January.

CTB over a short-term money situation seems like a waste but I really can't judge since I've been prepared to CTB if my net worth fell below a certain amount - so I feel a hypocritical giving you advice. Of course, I'm way older than you so I do have some experience when I say - money problems will come and go - and you the way you described your situation, it appears to be one that is probably shorter in duration that most.
