I am getting a 357 magnum Friday. I am torn between shooting right above the ear and in the mouth at the soft palate.

I don't have experience with guns but the guy at the store will show me and I plan on a practice shot. I am going to ask for hollow point. I am very determined to CT's, in fact I've waited too long. Please, I can use some advice, above the ear or I. The mouth ? I need to this be work.
