how to hospitalize myself

I don't want to die, I just need to prove that I'm fighting a battle that no one seems to take seriously anymore because I've been suicidal for too long
in what way could I hospitalize myself while ensuring that I don't actually die? if my mental health was taken seriously I wouldn't have much of a reason to die in the first place, I'm running out of ideas on how to eradicate that problem
additionally, I'd appreciate it greatly if someone could walk me through and give me advice on psychiatric hospital admission as an adult in Poland (process, price, etc)

I'm not in Poland. Do you have emergency rooms? Just go. A few people have mentioned on this site the idea they need to do something to prove what's going on. I mean not really. Just show up and be honest.

you could just voluntarily admit yourself to a hospital. it's more expensive to OD on something and then get treatment before getting sent involuntarily to a psych ward.

yeah. i did that back in high school and told the doctors at an emergency clinic that i kept having intrusive thoughts of hurting myself. then they can just take you in. you don't need to say that you have a method or that you self harm.

Echoing @monetpompo I did basically same thing. Inpatient for three days, started me on medication, got me setup with counseling.

I decided to do psychosomatics in a clinic. I called, got a talk with the doctors and 3 weeks later I go in.

you can also go to a psych ward - and uhmmm ask for a date to get yourself in. In Germany almost all of the are so full, I went to my main doctor, got a date when to go there and was there for a month and then went into psychosomatics. :)

okay, thank you, I'm currently looking through hospitals that look competent, struggling with it a little
also, hope you don't mind, I just read your post from today, firstly I'm sorry, secondly I found it incredibly relatable, I sincerely wish our situations could be better, I hope both of us can get through the night

I'd just like to tell everyone that I'm okay for now, got overwhelmed by various events and it somehow calmed me down
my neighbor hanged among other things and it snapped me out of my own thoughts about it
I'll keep your advices in mind in case i start spiraling again, thank you so much

As an American I have zero knowledge of how a polish psych ward works. or even if there is a commitment process as all.
