A normal post can be deleted within 30 mins. The delete option is at the bottom of the post alongside the edit option.
1st posts that create a new thread can't be deleted. Your only option is to tag a mod requesting that it be deleted. To tag someone, type @ followed by the user name and a drop down box will appear for you to select the relevant person. Mods are listed in the members section.
