I am in a lot of emotional pain and, realistically, have had serious thoughts and plans on ctb. Because of the recent influx of pain I am scheduling an appointment with a psychiatrist. I've been on most anti-depressants they put kids on because I was medicated from 11-17. Now that I've been off of them for a while I think I might benefit from getting back onto them. I want to get on something heavier or at least something different from then my childhood drug concoctions of SSRIs. I know I shouldn't tell them about anything ctb related, but then how do I tell them the right stuff to still get the medicine I need?

Generally, the more honest you are to the doctor, the more accurately your disorders will be diagnosed, and the more effective the treatment you'll get. That said, if you want to avoid being admitted coercively, then deny being a danger to yourself or anyone else. Afaik that's the only way you can be held against your will.
