How effective is poison?

From the scale 1 to 10, how would assess the effectiveness of poison? Is poison better than hanging? I'm asking these questions because it's the easiest way for me to catch the bus.

Yeah gotta be more specific than that, each posion works on it's unique way, idk the definition of poison, but if it's a substance to kill you, I've heard nembutal would be the best option, quest not so easy to get it tho
