I've been feeling anxious all day, university just started and it was my first week of going outside after two years of complete isolation in my room.

I just feel so defective, just seeing the lecture hours being so long and thinking about all the material I need to study makes me struggle to breathe. The commute is long, I know no one and I am absolutely incompetent. I can't see my therapist cause of mismatching schedules now and my medications are just not doing anything for me.

Was already fucked up with no responsibilities as a NEET, and with no work ethics I don't know how I'll get through university at all.

I'm in a somewhat similar situation. If you can. Focus on small stuff like. Omg I can have my drink today or watch xy series. What also helps me is just imagining I am another person. The second part is probably not healthy eh.
Anyways I hope you can find the right meds and find something to look forward to

It's definitely easier to chunk it up into small pieces. "Right now I'm just focusing on the bus ride". Right now I'm just focusing on the lecture. I'll worry about homework later" "Right now I'm just worrying going to write one paragraph of this report"

And remember some little anxiety tricks. Deep slow breathing. Name 5 things you can see. Touch something. All kinds of things to ground you.

Does you school have any resources for disabled students that might give you some extra support?

Good luck with your classes!

They have DSA but it seems limited to money and I don't think it could give me much help, but thanks for the advice!

I'm trying to do it one step at a time but regardless of what I tell myself my chest doesn't feel any lighter, which is why I feel suffocated.

That's hard, when I come home I feel too exhausted to do anything or I feel like I should be doing something to further my studies. I honestly don't even know if I really like anything or if I'm a person at all.

Thanks for the well wish, I'm not sure I'll ever find right meds given my track record but I can only force myself to keep trying.
