What is the best way I can hospitalise myself? I can stand living at home.

I'd like to be in the hospital for 2 weeks at least

I was recently researching psych wards in my area. It's worth being aware of your options. It's hard to know what the consequences would be ahead of time, though. Someone recently mentioned the risk of discrimination by employers.

Can't you just go in and say youd like to be admitted?

Considering this as well even though it doesn't solve my problems.

I'll ring emergency services, tell them about my plans to ctb and ask to be admitted. I don't know where I'l go from there and I hope I don't have to deal with my family anymore.

Can you just go stay in a motel for a week?
Or go to another town and tell a shelter you're homeless?

Homeless shelters are still *relatively* less violent than psych wards, the majority of the time I think.
