Help How am I supposed to jump? (position ?)

My question is if theres a specific position for jumping? I heard the standard height should be like ~150 for land and ~250 for water, but does that count if you just flail around or a specific form? Do I need to dive? I'm thinking about using a building but if theres none that I can access legally then I'll just jump from a bridge nearby. Thanks.

ideally you should fall on your head, but it's pretty hard to do that due to SI

At a 150 meters it doesn't really matter how you land. The chances of dying are nearing 100% at that height.
