I have cued in one person that I truly intend to die and that I have a solid plan. No one else knows that it is more than passive suicidal ideation. Have you told anyone of your ideation or plans or will you?

Only one person knows I'm suicidal, and that's my daughter. She knows eventually she will get a phone call, but she's come to terms with my decision, because she suffers from depression and suicidal thoughts as well as me.

Other than that, no one knows my plans. I don't feel like hearing all the stupid reasons I should remain on earth. Plus, I don't want someone having me sanctioned.

It's my decision to make, not anyone else's.

that is so cruel, i'm truly sorry you deserve genuine understanding and compassion, all the way to the very end, wherever that may be.


i've told two friends of my intentions, no other details, as well as a vague but optimal time frame. one received me solemnly, the other has been really distraught and i am conflicted about having done so, despite her reaffirmations that she would've wanted to know. i know that she wouldn't risk contacting emergency services though. some other friends know that i have a history of chronic suicidality, but i've revealed to them no indications of active planning.

Chances are, you'll soon be in the psych ward. I made the mistake of telling a close friend and ended up in psych ward

A solid chunk of my close friends are aware of my ideation and the reasons/depths of it, and some buddies I met at the psych ward are also aware too. Outside of that circle there's people aware that I've been hospitalized but they don't know the actual reason.

I don't really have a concrete plan right now since I want to find one that'll actually get the job done the way I want it to, but when I think of it I'll probably keep it a secret until the time comes.

Kinda. I told two friends that I have a poison that will kill me and they also confided in me telling me their plans lol. I never told them that the poison is SN. They never tried to stop me, it was kinda a bonding moment as we talked about being suicidal and having plans.

Yes, I told a my closest friends about my suicidal thoughts but only one person knows that I have some sort of exit plan if shit goes downhill to an unbearable degree. She also knows some of the methods I consider but since I don't have a fleshed out plan it's kinda vague... For me and for her.

I've intimated to a friend that it's likely. More friends know I've had ideation from childhood. This friend though is one I keep in touch with more so- I thought it fairer to warn them. They are also suicidal or, have been. So- it didn't cause big waves.

No, I only told chat gpt about my plan. I have one friend who would try convince me to stay so I can't tell him.

I've only very vaguely told my therapist that I have ideation and a plan. I haven't mentioned the fact that I already have SN, acetaminophen, metoclopramide, and that I've ordered my benzos.

pretty much the only person i've explained my plan to is my friend. the one real friend i have remaining. not that he would accept it (in fact he's been feeling very worried and helpless since i told him), but he would at least try to understand. he can't call the cops or do much of anything regardless, since he lives far from my area; nor does he know enough personal info about me to have cops locate me down.

Yeah someone called my psych (community member) because they identified that I was "in crisis" over the weekend (didn't do anything just chatting with friends and someone with enough context to connect the dots was eavesdropping). Get a call on Monday and it's his supervisor, and the tone/underlying message that I picked up was that I have somehow committed a clear transgression. I was asked (I was not given a choice) to agree to terminate, effective immediately. No referral, not allowed to see a different provider. Absolutely no contact with the psychiatry clinic allowed. She wanted me to terminate with the whole clinic but then changed her mind and decided that if I needed "women's health or primary care" that would be alright. You'd think I'd made a terror threat.

Wait... I'm actually starting to wonder if the eavesdropper misheard or somewhere in this game of telephone someone thought I was homicidal. Like that I was going to shoot him. I'm going to shoot myself, wtf.
