you hear about it all the time, people who catch the bus seeming so happy the few days before they did it.
and we all know this is because they finally know the peace is coming.
have you ever been so close to ending it that you got that feeling or something close to that feeling?

or maybe just from knowing you have it as an option when it fits you.

For me it's a 'get out clause'.. like if it all gets too much I've got a way out.

When I really think about my actions (ctb) affecting those left behind I feel sad actually.

yes, when the suicide hotline gave up on me
it hurt that they gave up, but i was ecstatic at the same time
i felt like i had tried everything i could
i was happy because i didn't have to question if dying was the best option

as for the last line...

that's how i am now
knowing i have options makes me feel at peace
not "happy" per say, but it gives me security

YES! I just made a post about how I'm getting a gun this weekend, and I'm honestly so happy right now. It's all over soon, I'm going to be at peace... finally.
