Have low executive functioning & need guidance

Hi everyone,

I've been around for awhile, and you've seen me sporadically during my lowest points obviously. A lot has happened over the past year. I had a nervous breakdown over a year ago, and I spent most of 2025 in treatment. I was a believer and left treatment quite hopeful. That.. feels more like fantasy now than reality. I've been home a few months, and things are now worse than they've ever been. What little support I had is decidedly gone, I was terminated, and quite frankly I'm not fit to work. Since my nervous breakdown over a year ago, I've discovered my executive functioning is quite poor. Simple tasks I used to breeze through take a ridiculously long time to complete, challenging tasks usually don't get completed at all. So I just need everyone to give me some grace because finding the information on here that I'm in need of is daunting.

Can someone please direct me toward the instructions, including preparation, of what I need for helium asphyxiation? I've always avoided this one because the preparations looked intimidating, and I feared I'd screw it up. But I need to be successful the next time around, and I'd really like to just commit to it and get prepared. I don't want another failed attempt and face forced admission to a psych ward where I lose one of the only things I have left: my dignity.

It's because you started off with that you were in treatment and hopeful. So no one here wants to be the one making it easier for you or feel somewhat responsible. Especially with the information already available on here if you have a look around sasu.

Nobody meant to reject you. It's just a bit more difficult post to react to maybe?
Also there are a lot of posters and it's not uncommon to have a post "overlooked" and not responded to.

I'm sorry for your breakdown and consequential executive dysfunction. That can be incredibly tough to deal with!
