Help Has anyone ever worked at a motel?

What are the protocol for motel clerks like, if they receive some kind of warning that a person in one of the rooms is danger to themselves. Are they obligated to reveal the room that person is staying at and do they provide a key to open that room? Yes, no, maybe?
