Recently I got obsessed about a post that I saw on Reddit and I felt very related to it:

"Has anyone else felt the sudden horrible understanding that we are stuck in existence. Like we will have to face death and whatever happens next. The horror of not ever es xisting again or equally the horror of existing forever eternally as a part of an eternal force. I mean once one truly conceives that it is a horror like non other. Its pure agony and horror at ones own existence as well as everything else. It seems to me that very few people have this profound realization and others are like under some veil. Also religion nor any philosophy can be comforting at all because none offer an escape. Once you are born you are doomed and it cant be undone. This is so agonizing and it brings lack of appetite, not being able to sleep, not being able to function. Everything is so absurd and futile.

Then people try to say to just live with it and have fun while it lasts or other stuff and honestly the fact they say that just brings more despair because you realize they have never truly felt the his deep realization or even come close to undersranding it. Also living in the moment does not solve anything as it is always there and it does not negate what is.

Any one else at least know what I am talking about. This is hell. Its being terrufied of ecistencf abdbkniwing you cant escape it ever, not even dying. One does not want to be alive nor die nor exist in any other plane of existence, but you have no choice to just be. Its unbearable. The fact people are out hthere having kids putting them in this cycle is awful to me."

This feeling is the worst horror someone can experience, and once you realize this your life it's pretty much over, it's realizing that even if a benevolent and omnipotent god exists it still doesn't solve anything because reality still exists

In a way, yes.

During my mental crises, the entire Universe looks like a prison to me.
A prison from which even death cannot get me out.
It is a bit scary when we realize that our fate has been sealed long ago.

Our reality is strange.

No, I don't consider not existing again to be a horror. I personally think that it's one of the most blissful things that I could get

it's a blessing in some ways, if you think about the odds of a sperm and egg coming together and creating you or whatever. but when you look at how the average person is living, i think it's more reasonable to see it as a curse.
