hanging but always failed due to SI

ive tried to attempt hanging multiple times by now, I don't have a high enough place in my house so I think that's already off the table. there's a forest outside of my house and there's this tree I've climbed, tied a rope to it and tried to jump but everytime I try to jump in overwhelmed with dread and fear about how painful it would be to be unable to breathe, I don't know what to do, I wish there was a easier way to commit that wouldn't be so painful. I have been planning to buy a gun recently but I cant get one legally and I don't know anyone who could sell me one illegally. Any tips as to how I can go about this painlessly?

From what I've read, asphyxiation is the wrong way to go about hanging. I hear that it can be quick, painless, and easy if you go for hypoxia. Asphyxiation is lack of oxygen, and it can take minutes to pass out, while hypoxia is lack of blood to the brain, which could take under 20 seconds. Still will be scary, of course, but this should ease you.
