Thank you for sharing this. Perhaps it could be a sticky here at SS. The author was very talented and succinct in her essay. She's certainly correct about "desperate measures ". We've seen so many grappling with finding a peaceful method. An old friend of mine's father was failing in health and lonely and took to the gun method last year. The wife had passes 5 years earlier. He really was a good guy and a kind person and obviously determined because he was successful . He deserved better I think but my friend and I were both glad he was no longer suffering but frustrated that he had to resort to what he did. Unfortunately no change is on the horizon

yes shes evidently very talented. considering reading some of her other works soon
