I previously posted about potentially getting a really good job in my field. It has worked out. I will be flying out on Friday. I'm extremely nervous. I'm moving across the country alone and don't know anyone. On top of this, I have so much to tie up before I leave and I'm losing steam quickly. My best friend is supporting me so much. I love her and I'm so glad to have someone like her to help me, just still so scared something is going to go horribly wrong. I still have to pass all my classes but I'm leaving much earlier than anticipated due to my work schedule and have to finish all of my classes a month early. It's incredibly stressful, but so far I have not felt the need to self harm or quit altogether. I am hopeful still. I almost feel like I'm so far removed from the feeling of excitement that I can only express anxiety.

Congratulations on the new job! I've been through that experience of moving to the other side of the country without knowing anyone in the city — it's a process that can take some time to adjust to. But I hope it turns out to be a great experience and that everything goes well!
And again, congratulations!

Any time you take on a significant new challenge you are bound to feel nervous. It still happens to me, even now (though I have learned not to let any nervousness show). You will be fine. Good luck.
