Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I live in a state where you have to be 21 to get a LTC. I turn 21 around the end of the year. The thought of having to wait that long makes me physically ill. I don't want to be here anymore. Is there a way I can access a gun beforehand without arousing suspicion? (I don't want to hurt anyone but myself) I assume not, but I figured I'd ask.

am 20, heavily researched firearms before realizing that there was no way i could buy myself a gun legally until my next birthday came. and even if i'm to see my birthday it'd be incredibly suspect for me to ask my parents if they can buy me a gun because i can't afford it. i also think that there's a 5 year wait if you were sent to a psych ward (for obvious reasons). people have been denied guns by dealers before. i'm still annoyed that i spent a week researching guns only to call the gun range and have them tell me i can't shoot a gun or purchase a gun unless i'm with someone 21 or over.

California and New York are the worst states with regards to laws governing who can/can't purchase firearms. Although both states prohibit the purchase of handguns for anyone under the age of 21 in either state, 18, 19, and 20 year olds can purchase NON-semi automatic long guns, including shotguns. I believe you need a hunting license in California in order to purchase a shotgun if you are under 21, but that's just a formality.
