Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I really wanna finish it before I go, don't know why cus it barley has any hits but someone commented on it recently and that made me really happy :) so weird that just a single person wanting to read more of my work makes me wanna write more. Now I just gotta find the motivation to write.

I lead a Discord writing group where most of the people write fanfic. I have a degree in writing and am more on the literary side of things (aside from my stupid 61,000 word Waluigi fanfic on ao3 of course), but getting to read their works and watch them grow as writers has made me appreciate fanfic (especially niche/unusual pairings or crossovers). A lot of successful writers started out by writing fanfiction. You should definitely stick around to finish your story, though of course, it's your choice.
Finding motivation to write is tough. Sometimes motivation is too elusive and you just have to do it anyway, knowing you may not be in the optimal headspace for it, knowing you're maybe not going to be at your best. But you can always come back and edit--just letting go of the perfectionism and pressure and getting the words on the page is the most important step (easier said than done of course).
The more you write, the more of those comments you'll get. Hope you get to finish your story!

AO3 was the only thing keeping me alive through middleschool but I never used it for fanfics lol. There just aren't many platforms that have original user-made writings.

Waluigi fanfic?! love that, and the discord group sounds fun. I do want to stick around and finish the story even though it's all looking a bit bleak right now, and I hate how long it takes me to write, still, I do want to continue.
The perfectionism point is so true, even though I wouldn't exactly call myself a perfectionist, I do cringe at my work a lot, it's the worst thing ever, self-depreciation is a bitch. I wish I could write more freely without getting the ick.
But anyways, thank you for the kind words <3 really appreciate it.
