As long as it's above 95%, food or industrial grade does not matter.
It's exactly the same chemical. The food grade is tested to be free of harmful shit and is approved for use in making foods. The lab/industrial/reagent grade has not been approved for use in foods.
It is the same chemical and will work either way if the percentage is over 95%.
