Life is never so bad that it can't get any worse

I am one of the thousands who are in the situation of being stuck in flats that are potentially hazardous and unable to sell. I have been following Twitter and so many people have suffered really badly in their mental wellbeing. I feel so trapped and there's nothing we can do - some of their stories are heartbreaking. The bills to replace the unsafe cladding are running into tens of thousands of pounds. I was planning to sell so that I could go to university but that is no longer an option while I have a mortgage to pay on my £0 flat. I feel like I'm stuck in limbo with no way of moving forwards. My chronic SI has kicked up a notch and I feel like the donkey in Buckaroo waiting for one more plastic bucket to tip me over the edge. The uncertainty is draining and I just want to give up.
