Trying to make things as easy as possible for my family after I ctb, so I'm in the process of finalizing my will and registering for full-body donation. Being 18, healthy, and having a history of suicidality and suicide attempts, nobody in my life would be willing to sign these documents. I tried using an online notary service because the self-proving affidavit part of my will does require notarization, but the notary said that I'd have to bring in my own witnesses because they had to be sworn under oath, and the online witnesses couldn't do that. Does anyone have advice for getting things signed?

Does your locality not recognize holographic wills? You don't need a witness for those.

In any case, when I got my do-not-resuscitate order signed, I used my coworkers as witnesses. Most people will just sign whatever without even looking at it. I just told them it was a government document I needed a witness for and they signed it.

Holographic wills aren't recognized in my state, I don't start working again until the fall and I'd rather ctb before moving out if I can. Might just find somewhere local that does notarizations and is busy enough to have 2 people around and willing to sign, tack the body donation form onto the will+self-proving affidavit.
