Are antiemetics necessary? Should I stop taking my meds days before? How long do I need to be alone? Is renting a hotel room a good idea?

  1. Antiemetics aren't as essential as many people make them out to be: the truth is, people still vomit even after taking them. So if you think that metoclopramide (or similar drugs) will definitely prevent vomiting, I'm sorry to say that's not the case. And just because you vomit doesn't necessarily mean your attempt has failed, that's another myth that needs to be debunked. The body can still absorb a significant amount of SN before vomiting, so it's not as simple as "undoing" the effect.
  2. It depends on the medications you're taking, but in general, I don't think you need to stop your usual therapy before taking SN. It shouldn't significantly affect its absorption or effectiveness.
  3. You should make sure you have at least 12 uninterrupted hours, to ensure clinical death can be confirmed. There have been cases of people being found and saved even after 8 hours, so if you don't live alone, or if you have roommates or parents who don't fully respect your privacy, I'd recommend booking a hotel room.

I think at least 4 hours (edit: damn, 12 actually) being alone is good,
but 1 day at least is also great

antiemetics are highly recommended
