Missing my Mom

I live with them at the moment. I have a storage unit stuff full of stuff from my apartment I lived in for four years. I own so much crap. Some of it is still just full boxes of stuff from my mom's apartment when she passed away and I had to clean it out. And now someone's going to have to do that for me.

In a way... I feel a little justified. I had to deal with my mom's stuff mostly by myself. Calling people to tell them, closing her accounts, organizing her documents, going through her belongings, etc.

But I feel guilt at the same time. They're gonna have to clean out my car and donate all my clothes. Contact people and tell them i still ended up ctb after my failed attempt in March. Find new homes for my cats (and take them to get dental surgery, I'm leaving money and instructions for that) I'm not worried about them being sad but I am worried about inconveniencing them...

If you plan to do it inside and want to save them the trauma and save yourself the guilt, maybe the best bet is leaving your note on the outside of a locked door with a "dont open, call the police" note.

also making everything easy to pack would help for sure i think too, nice and neat

Unfortunately I'm banking on them not checking on me until my boyfriend gets concerned from me not replying and contacts my brother. Otherwise my sister in law might see the note as early as an hour after I take the SN which might be early enough to cause me to fail

You can ask a Solicitor to hire a house clearance company to sell off stuff. They take their fee from the sale and then, whatever's left goes into your estate. That's what I'm doing. I don't want to inflict my mess on loved ones.

Agree. I don't have the first problem because I live alone. But Boy oh boy do I have the second problem. Lot of stuff. ☹️. I'll never get 12 of it, someone will have to either have fun going through it or curse the day that I passed it on to them to deal with.
