Discussion Favorite Flower

I was just wondering what everyone's favorite flowers are, whether it's a combination of a few or just a single flower.

Not favorite but I was always fascinated by blue bells as a kid

Red roses. Common I know but I associate them with my mom.

I also love huge sunflowers. I find them fascinating and love how they stand out in any place.

Antirrhinum - not sure of the specific one, but it was white and the scent was divine.

I actually kind of hate flowers. They look pretty but they attract nasty insects like mosquitos and bees. Plus I'm allergic to pollen so once a year I'm at the whim of these asshole flowers and their reproductive material being spread into the air.

I also am not the biggest flower person - especially not Hybridroses, Pegonias, Pansies (barf) etc. - they serve no purpose and don't feed insects and are another example of taking something from its natural state and making it worse by cultivating it.

I do enjoy the aesthetic of some wild flowers though.

But just like @Dr Iron Arc
- I rather not have them too close to me, nothing against insects but if I can avoid them I do.

I love cactus and aloe vera plants.
There are so many kind of cactus plants and I personally have like one that is really hairy and a second one which looks like a baseball ball but covered with thusands of spikes : P
