Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Lets discuss pros and cons of this idea of the Eternal Return! Is it plausible in your opinion? What are the implications?

This idea was introduced by Nietzsche as a sort of a thought experiment and is directly connected to the stoic concept of "amor fati" - can you truly love your life, accept your destiny? If the answer is "yes" then how about living it again and again for all eternity? Id say fuck that...

I can see a few implications:

1. Theres no "free will" - the "person" i think myself to be is an illusion.
2. The universe is absolutely mechanical.
3. "life lessons" are useless - theres no learning.
4. Its all absolutely meaningless.

My last question: if you knew this theory to be 100% true - would you still want to CTB?
