I swear my safe foods change every other week, but string cheese always has made the list. I guess I have more of a safe number than a safe food. I will eat things that are under 200 calories. So things like canned soup, oyster crackers, granola/protein bars. Currently my safe food list is string cheese, canned soups under 200 cals, and Bobo's brand granola bites. I had a two month period where my only safe foods were string cheese and saltines, that fucking sucked.
I have hyperphagia. I eat a lot of chicken nuggets with mayonnaise, pizza, potatoes with raclette cheese, tomato-mozzarella ravioli, gnocchi, mashed potatoes, vanilla chocolate-cake. Things that are easy to cook because I'm too depressed.
And when I order, I have a soft spot for pad thais, French tacos, Chinese food.
hmmm i guess pistachios or protein shakes? i obsessively count calories more than anything, but those are my go to snacks. single servings aren't crazy so i feel pretty good with them. been dealing with ednos on and off for about four years now
During every eating disorder period of my life, I stick to 450 calories per day approximately, where the food consist of this only, every single day for as long as it's going on for and it's the only food that I'll feel comfortable eating (which could go on for a few months at a time):
1 Green kiwi or 1 banana
4 Wasa crispbread in multi grain swedish style
30 grams of Leberwurst/pate from pork
125 grams of vanilla yogurt
10 grams/1 square worth of dark chocolate 70-80%
Water and ice cubes
3-5 sugarfree extra gums
1 multivitamin pill
1 multimineral pill
1 calcium pill
1 fluoride pill
Per day, this totals to 450-500 calories and 50-65 grams of carbs. I use a scale for the yogurt and I cut the 10 grams/1 square piece of dark chocolate into fine thin pieces and drizzle it ontop of the yogurt, adds a lot of flavour even though it's a tiny amount. I use the pate as a spread on the wasa crispbread. I'd prefer to stick to kiwis, but swap to 1 banana every second day for the days that I work out. Work out last 10-40 minutes depending on if doing cardio or weight lifting, I choose one or the other depending on day.
