Can I Be Hypnotized? Introduction to Hypnotic Suggestibility

There are two distinct types of Hypnotic Suggestibility – Physical and Emotional. Human behavior has led us to recognize that everyone is Hypnotizable and responsive to suggestions.

Unfortunately, they ask for country and state as a required question (other questions have a "prefer not to say" option) but you can just pick a random one really. This is a test/site that my hypnotherapist sent me.

I scored 71% emotional and 29% physical. We are somewhat similar!

Part of our system is sort of here due to hypnosis type stuff so definitely It makes sense that many systems would score higher emotional too. Lots of alters are very aware and protective, so literal "physical" hypnotic directions can easily be overridden, but subconscious ones can affect the whole system.

I also suspect people with BPD tend to have high Emotional. I mean... it sorta comes with the territory (also alot of us tend to have defiant qualities, so physical might be harder)

Yeah, I wasn't even remotely surprised by my score, lol. Also, this may sound weird, but can I send you a message?

Hypnosis in itself is a type of controlled dissociation. Due to being dissociative, the brain itself has a tendency to react to it, including the alter that is fronting. HOWEVER you're right in a way. It can affect different alters to different extents.

systems form due to childhood trauma fucking up the brain so bad it makes multiple people — it's not really a stretch for that fuck up to extend to not having defences against emotional hypnosis
