Hello, was wanting to get opinions on this method I might want to do.

So I would zip tie my feet together in the river. Then I would zip tie one of my wrists to my feet. I couldn't possibly swim with one arm or could I? Please let me know opinions on the logistics of this and such tysm

Sounds absolutely awful, not to comment on feasibility and chance of success. Drowning is already a very unpleasant choice, but you will panic and try to swim with one arm plus kicking your feet-hand. Is there current? Rocks? They could keep you bobbing up, with you instinctively taking little bits of air whenever possible. If you're getting far enough away to avoid someone intervening, the odds grow higher imo that the tide and floor of the river will be unpredictable.

I don't mean to be negative, but I'd really advise against this.

Seems painful, but there is a chance of survival. I'm pretty sure you know the body and the brain will do anything to survive even if you are trying not to your hands and legs will start moving. If you know how to swim then it's probably even worse because you'd just start floating up on your back. Also it depends on where you're doing it. Some places have rescue teams nearby in case anything like this happens. They might get to you before you get to death.

Once you exit the "floating" position, you will start to sink. Not much, but enough you life is in grave danger.
People float, but barely.

I promise you, once you are in the water, you will feel terror like you've never felt before in your life. It's the absolute worst way to go. I'm still happy you decided on a topic different from SN. But still.........😌

Sounds haphazard. If you do this on the side of a river how will you get into the water? Roll or tip in? How to get to deep enough water like that? To me the contorted positioning would make the already distressing situation of drowning into unnecessary torture.

Why? Is water your biggest phobia and you're trying to project it on others?
It's the absolute worst way to go.
Absolute worst way to go? Worse than burning in fire? Worse than electrocution with a 230 V power source? Worse than drinking piranha solution?

This sounds like a horrific way to die. Zip tied and sinking into the abyss and knowing you can't do anything about it?
