• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Should I try to take Some sleeping pills before I do it. I think that otherwise i won't be able to do it. I don't know what is the better option. In a lake ( the water is pretty cold right now) or into a tree.

Sorry to bother. I am just done with life and want to end it as soon as I can

I'm sorry, I think it's a very unreliable and risky method. It's one of the romanticized ways in media that aren't actually viable. I hope you reconsider doing it, at the very least not this method.

You're not bothering anyone posting this, we're here to help each other, I want to believe. Take care, whatever you do.

Please try to consider other methods. The human body can do amazings things when you're about to die. Humans are not designed to intentionally ctb.

I have once tried to drown myself in a river. I failed, or rather, as I was in the river, I got pulled under water by the current and then it was like a switch had flipped in my brain and I wanted to keep living. I managed to get out of the river. Nobody knows how, as the river in that place is not suitable for swimming at all, and it was very cold that day, both the water as well as the air. I ended up in hospital and then psych ward for a while. I still sometimes wish I had succeeded that day. I was 16 years old at the time. And here I am, 8 years later, still alive and still wanting to ctb quite frequently.

I suspect you don't want to fail and potentially end up with long-term damage.

That being said, if I had to choose between driving a car into a lake or against a tree, I'd take the lake.

I'd be afraid someone would rescue me if I drove my car into the lake.

Yeah same. But there is a spot where almost nobody comes. I've been there a lot. I'm debating hanging or drowning

this is a bad idea, it has a low survival rate, but here's an alternative.

if the lake you mentioned is wide and deep enough (it probably is if it can fit a car), you can just swim to the middle of the lake and then straight down, and you'll probably drown even if you try and go back up. it helps if you purposely breathe in underwater before you run out of breath so it starts sooner.

Modern cars are incredibly safe. That is why all those crashing car thieves live to steal again.

Water, hope nobody dives in to save you. Worse yet, dies trying to save you.

In my extended family, someone drove into a truck trailer at crazy speed in their car and ended up with a LOT of broken bones, pins throughout their body, internal injuries and now permanent reduced mobility - not to mention continual pain that persists several years later.

After many months of recovery, they rediscovered life and are still doing well. Beats me to how the f*ck they managed to to come up feeling on top after all of that pain and unquestionable permanent disabilities 😲
