Discussion Drinking making depression worse?

So, I'd been doing a little better up until lately. But with it being summer, and doing summer activities and things like yardwork, I've found myself drinking a lot more.
And here lately, I've noticed my depression creeping it's way back.
Wondering if any of you all fell the same?

Not the same type of depression but yes it is indeed a depressant (lowers neurotransmission— in other words, slow down the brain and nerves). Just thought to point that out

I don't drink anything except at communion because of how negatively I've seen it affect other people~ Unless you're doing it alongside other people (with a designated driver ofc), the results are usually bad, especially if you're already depressed~ Also, especially don't do so if you're borderline or prone to addiction~ >_<

It's a self-destructive habit, and self-destructive habits tend to make you depressed.
